About
I was introduced to aviation at 14 when my dad signed me up for flying lessons. Like most teenagers, I had other plans.
Twenty-six years later, I finally earned my private pilot certificate at 40 years old.
Today, one of my greatest joys is sharing aviation with my own kids. We fly together, explore together, and my daughter is already talking about becoming a pilot herself.
Her Altitude was born from that experience and a desire to see more women in aviation. Whether you're dreaming about your first lesson, working toward a certificate, or already a pilot, my hope is that you'll find encouragement, resources, and a community that reminds you that you belong here.
Women make up only 10% of pilots — but 100% of the time, they're PIC (Pilot in Command) of their own journey. We're here to celebrate that.
